Note that there is little lateral support, so if you are cross-training in other sports you may need another pair of shoes. The Nimbus is particularly well suited for high-mileage runners (those running 25 miles or more a week) and those with a "neutral" gate and slightly higher arches - there is greater cushioning for the arches.

Why you Run....

There are many reasons why a person would run.....to lose weight, for fun, to relieve stress, to get out of the house, to be outside, because they just love it, and on and on. I started running to clear my head and relieve stress, seven years ago. My parents had just gotten divorced, after 20 years of marriage, and I was heartbroken. So, when I got overwhelmed I would run. Sometimes I would run for over an hour. I would run until I felt okay again. Many times, I would run late at night (which isn't safe). I didn't have a course or a plan. My goal was to breathe, clear my head, and find happiness. And I found it....on the road.

Now I run because I love it! It has become my favorite hobby and a passion. I love to push myself and see what my body can take. I love to let my stress out on the pavement. The longer I run the better I feel (well, to an extent).

A Love for Running

I love to run. I've been running for about 10 years. I love to get out and run my stress right out of my body! It is my time. It's just me and the road. My time to think and just relax.

I first started to really run about the time that my parents got a divorce. Running was my outlet, my outlet to breathe and relax. It was my time to think and work through my heartache. I never set a time or a distance to complete, I would just run until I felt better. Sometimes I ended up running for over an hour. It really helped me deal with my parents divorce and the stress in my life.

I ran all through college. I loved to run around campus and just empty my brain. I ran a ton during finals week, even though I should have been studying. :) Running helped clear my head and actually helped me do better in school!

I even ran while I was pregnant. I ran my entire pregnancy, straight up until I had my baby. The day before my baby was born I ran 4 miles. People in my neighborhood thought I was crazy, but what they didn't realize is that I was running to keep myself sane! Running kept me happy and energized! I loved running pregnant!

Now, my baby and I run together just about everyday. Yes, I am a running mom!  She loves to be outside and really looks forward to our run each day. It is a special time together, where we enjoy the sun and fresh air. I love our run each day!

Running really is my stress outlet!
